Call for Lightning Talk Speakers

We are looking for speakers for our lightning talks session during lunch time. Let's liven up lunchtime with some interesting talks!
Details
- The session will be held in Room A (Kuramae Hall) from 12:30pm to 1:40pm.
- Lightning talks should last no more than 10 minutes.
- Lightning talk speakers are required to purchase a ticket for the conference. Currently the tickets have been sold out, but we will arrange extra tickets for the speakers.
- Unfortunately we are unable to pay travel expenses for speakers.
- Any talk will be considered, as long as it relates to Scala in some way.
- Speakers scheduled to present a Sponsor Session may also present separately as an individual.
- Please refrain from content or jokes that may be deemed racist, sexist or otherwise offensive.
- Slides will be published on the conference site after the conference is finished.

Call for Lightning Talk Speakers deadline: February 15th, 2013. We will contact all applicants by February 22nd, 2013 to inform them of the results.
How to Apply
Please email program@scalaconf.jp, including the following information.

Details
- Talks should ideally focus on real-world use of Scala, but any talk will be considered, as long as it relates to Scala in some way.
- Speakers scheduled to present a Sponsor Session may also present separately as an individual.
- Please refrain from content or jokes that may be deemed racist, sexist or otherwise offensive.
- Slides will be published on the conference site after the conference is finished.
- We plan to present all speakers with a gift to commemorate the conference. (Stay tuned for more details!)
- Unfortunately we are unable to pay travel expenses for speakers.
- Speakers do not need to buy a ticket for the conference. If you have already bought a ticket and you are selected as a speaker, please contact us for a refund.
